It was built in 1885 based on the plans of architect Zsigmond Quittner and it was renovated in 2002. Now it is undergoing an in-depth refurbishment that will provide 4,600 sq m of high quality office space over five floors. Floor plates varying between 476 sq m and 928 sq m, 4 m internal hight, filtered and treated fresh supply with a capacity of 40 m3/h/person, and Pendent LED lights will be installed to the spaces. There are many restaurants, cafes and shopping streets nearby.
Krausz Palota (Andrássy 12 Office Building) is located in the heart of Budapest, on a plot fronting onto Andrássy út (part of the World Heritage) and both Révay utca and Dobó utca. It is few minutes walk from Deak Ferenc tér nearby Hungarian Opera House.
