The Red office complex comprises the listed main brewery building dating from 1897 as well as the extension. Its facade, whose striking red-glazed ceramic tiles reinterpret the typical colour of the existing brick building, can already be seen from afar. Only a few minutes away from Zurich's main railway station is one of the city's most exciting districts: the former Löwenbräu brewery. The Löwenbräu Zurich project will be taking shape around the listed buildings along Limmatstrasse from about 2010: it involves the extension of the existing art centre by a residential and an office building.
