Alza has opened a new logistics center in Senec

Alza wants to deliver even more orders on the same day this Christmas. This is to enable the company to expand its storage capacity by 39% and further strengthen AlzaExpres transport. Storage areas in Slovakia have doubled not only thanks to the new logistics center in Senec but also due to the increase in the capacity of the upcoming premises. This will enable faster delivery of shipments in Slovakia, Hungary, and Moravia.

25 projects that fundamentally change the face of Prague

Are you interested in what the metropolis will look like in 20 years? Does the Prague exhibition offer a trip to the future tomorrow? Prague priorities representing 25 ambitious construction projects that will significantly change the face of Prague in the next 20 years. The exhibition was prepared by the capital city of Prague and IPR Prague. It starts on 23rd September and will last until 20th December 2020 in the premises of the Prague Center for Architecture and Urban Planning (CAMP) and on Mariánské náměstí, where the projects are presented in the form of a panel exhibition. The exhibition, in which visitors themselves can interact, maps 5 basic categories of the building development of the capital city of Prague, namely new districts, new transport connections, new opportunities, new squares and streets, and new parks. Each category is represented by 5 specific projects.

CBRE Survey: What do office tenants go through and where do they see opportunities?

Only 18% of the companies surveyed reduced their leased office space and 27% gave up the planned expansion. The pandemic accelerated the onset of new trends. Flexibility is at the heart. 64% of respondents-companies in the Czech Republic and 75% in the CEE region plan to invest in new technologies to support teleworking. 24% of Czech and 32% of Central European representatives of the surveyed companies expect increased interest in the sustainable construction of buildings.

Base boutique co-working offices for the demanding have opened in Prague

The developer Penta Real Estate has announced a competition for coworking offices in Prague in the Churchill building. The winner was Studio Perspektiv, which created a so-called boutique co-working space for the discerning. It is called Base and is the first branch of the planned network.

CTP begins construction of new logistics park in Ostrava

Praha, 14. zaří - CTP Invest is commencing construction of a new industrial park in the Poruba district of Ostrava, named ctPark Ostrava Poruba. Groundworks began in the summer and the initial project phase should be completed within six months, with the first companies moving in at the beginning of next year. The developer plans to invest more than €57 million (CZK 1.5 billion) in the project. Four large halls with production facilities and warehousing will be built at the site, which will offer almost 90,000 sqm of lettable area. This is the fifth ctPark in the Moravian-Silesian Region, besides the ctParks at Ostrava Hrabová, Nošovice, Nový Jičín, and Karviná.

Companies can start applying for subsidies to develop their own infrastructure for research, development and innovation

The Agency for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, the intermediate body of the Operational Program Enterprise and Innovation for Competitiveness, has started receiving applications for subsidies under the "Calls VII of the Potential Support Program". The aim of the call is to support the establishment and increase of the number of companies with infrastructure for their own research, development, and innovation. It is now possible to obtain up to 50 million CZK for one project. The call was announced on 28th August 2020 by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, which is the managing authority of the OP EIC. The API will accept applications until 23 November 2020. This is the last call of the Potential program in the OP EIC, a total of 1.1 billion crowns has been prepared for applicants.
