Master Series speakers include several prominent figures in the world of sustainability including green building pioneer Rick Fedrizzi, CEO and founding chair, U.S. Green Building Council and co-founder of this organization which has tripled membership over the years, and John Picard, chief technology & design officer, HP Energy LLC, one of the best-known environmental consultants in North America.
The show is the result of the international relations and connections the Verona Exhibition Centre has in the building & construction sector, proven by first level trade events like Marmomacc and Samoter, and strengthen by the busy agenda of international building construction events organized in the United States, Brazil, Middle East and Africa. There are 31 educational sessions confirmed, ranging from issues related to the performance of buildings, innovation in design and construction, certification systems and materials and interior environmental comfort. Highlighted sessions include a case studies on a bioclimatic skyscraper designed by Renzo Piano in Turin that uses natural light to save energy and incorporates advanced analysis software, the renovation of historic local buildings such as the GBC Historic Building and reclamation of the Venice lagoon and American Zero Energy schools.
