Polish Green Building Council is a non-governmental, non-profit organization, with the aim to have a positive impact on the construction sector in Poland, by promoting and implementing the rule of triple responsibility: environmental, social and economic. Their aim is to transform the design, construction and use of buildings across the country so that the overall benefit of its residents, the environment and all participants in the construction process.


PLGBC’s tasks includes providing leadership, contribute to raising awareness, providing information and facilitating access to knowledge on green building and strengthening the foundations of ecological construction in Poland. They advocate the creation of an ecologically oriented building policy, combining the voices of professionals, organizations and companies interested in sustainable development. They believe that the efforts made will facilitate the conversion of buildings in the area that is productive, energy efficient and environmentally responsible. They intend to form a coalition that will include public and private sectors, in a joint order to improve the living conditions of the inhabitants of Poland by a positive impact and implementation of the principle of triple responsibility.
